Our rides are listed in full and we hope you enjoy them enough to become a WCBC member. If you already are a member, we appreciate your support which helps pay for this web site. Your continued support is needed for our long term success as an organization which promotes bicycling in the tri-state area.

Some of our rides are now being published far in advance. Please check closer to the actual date of the ride to ensure that it is still scheduled.

Please review the WCBC's Ride Rules & Safety Tips
It is important that we all ride safely with consideration to other cyclists as well as to motorists and pedestrians.

SATURDAYS IN MARCH (Except March 29) – Barksdale Training Ride
Leave 9:00 am SHARP from Handloff Park for 47 rolling to hilly miles at 16-17 mph, steady endurance pace, NOT a race pace. The average speed (16-17 mph) is the overall average parking lot to parking lot. It is NOT the rolling speed, so there may be times when our rolling speed is greater (or less) depending on the terrain, etc. Ride format is double pace line, steady tempo. There are no stops. HELMETS REQUIRED!!! Please bring signed waiver with you (see www.whiteclaybicycleclub.org under Ride Leader Information). Questions - contact Ride Leaders: Lorie Struzik (302-354-3811) before 8:30 a.m. or Nancy Waddell (302-545-4146 or waddelne@gmail.com) before 7:30 am.

Just plain cold is no excuse. No ride if heat index greater than 100 degrees. Usual basic cycling competency required. Ride Leader: Pieter Jongebreur, Pieterj8@comcast.net, 302-530-0666.
