WEEKEND RIDES
FEB.
SUNDAYS - Barksdale Ride
NEW DAY AND START TIME!! Leave 9:00 a.m. SHARP from Handloff Park
(Mapquest Barksdale and Casho Mill Roads, Newark, DE) on Sundays.
This is the former regular Saturday Ride moved to Sunday. The intent
of this ride is to ride as a GROUP at a steady endurance-type pace,
NOT a race pace. The route and distance can change week to week
but plan on 45-55 rolling to hilly miles at 16-17 mph. The posted
average speed (16-17 mph) is the overall average parking lot to
parking lot. It is NOT the rolling or moving speed, so there may
be times when our rolling speed is greater (or less) depending on
the terrain. Ride format is double pace line, steady tempo. There
are no stops. HELMETS REQUIRED!! Please bring signed waiver with
you (see www.whiteclaybicycleclub.org under Ride Leader Information).
Subscribe to WCBC’s listserve for last minute updates and/or changes
